BOARD OF CONTROL

The Acadia Parish Library Board of Control is the governing body responsible for providing oversight and guidance for the Acadia Parish Library system. The Board is composed of up to seven volunteer residents of Acadia Parish. Members are appointed by the Acadia Parish Police Jury who serve the residents of Acadia Parish, along with one representative of the Acadia Parish Police Jury who serves as an ex officio member. The Board provides leadership and oversight to ensure that the Library serves the residents of Acadia Parish effectively and responsibly while supporting its mission, policies, and long-term goals.
